I needed some place I could write articles about the various things I am into at the moment. At first I was considering building my own blogging application on top of Symfony (because WP is a joke and I have grown to hate it over my career). In the end after writing thousands of lines of code and almost having something to show for it I decided I should I should just go look what blogging software is out there.

That is when I came across Ghost. It looks perfect for my needs. It's built in JavaScript which I have years of experience using (and my home automation runs under JavaScript using Node-RED).

Anyways, expect me to write about some of my crazy adventures here. I really just needed a first post and I guess this will do.
